Our new router enables dual broadband to ensure you are always connected to the Internet.

If you are in a BT and Virgin Media coverage area, both connections are simply plugged into the router, which will automatically* switch from one network to the other should either suffer an outage.

If you do not have Virgin Media in your area, the router uses a 3G SIM card**, and in the event that BT suffers an outage, the router will automatically* switch to the 3G connection, and then automatically switch back again when connectivity is restored. This ensures that you are connected to the Internet 24/7/365.

* Your drivers will be unaffected by any automatic switch from one supplier to the other as MercuryMobile will be programmed to recognise both providers.

** The 3G data usage can be paid ad hoc or you can subscribe to a bundled tariff with unlimited data usage.
